Midnight Ravers and the Spiritual Apocalypse

Bob Marley was a soul prophet – a cat fully in tune with higher consciousness, or enlightenment. The Wailer’s song Midnight Ravers is a warning about spiritual death – the obliteration of the soul. Gender confusion, feminism, and the destruction of the mind are the employed weapons. What is natural, beautiful, and innate should flourish unmolested. The complimentary balance of the sexes is a perfect example of the divine natural order.

A revolution of consciousness will soon be upon us. Those who are chained to the old dialectic (men v. women, gay v. straight, rich v. poor, Republican v. Democrat, U.S. v. the World, Black v. White, organized religion back-biting squabblers, etc.) will drown in the neo-diluvian spiritual waters.

The ten thousand riders with their faces covered are those who have abandoned their spiritual purpose. They are in blind allegiance to their false gods. Their pain and suffering defines their existence. If they ride on, they will see a better way.

Can't tell the woman from the man, no I say you can't
Cause they're dressed in the same pollution
Their mind is confused with confusion
With their problems since there's no solution

They become the midnight ravers
Someone say please don't let me down
Midnight ravers, midnight ravers
Please don't let me down, down, down, down
Don't let me down
Don't let me down

I see ten thousand chariots
And they coming without horses
The riders they cover their face
So you couldn't make them out in smokey places

In that musical stampede where everyone's doing their
thing
Musical stampede, people swinging
Musical stampede,
Some people say ride on
People riding
People ride on
People riding
People ride on
People riding
Midnight Ravers

I can't tell my woman from the man
She is dressed in the same pollution
Her mind is confused with confusion
To her problems seems there's never never no solution

I've become a night-life raver
And I'm begging you please don't let me down
Night-life ravers, night-life raver
Please, please don't let me down
Don't let me down
Don't let me down

I see ten thousand chariots
And they coming without horses yeah
The riders they cover their face
So you couldn't make them out in smokey places

In that musical stampede
Its the musical stampede
Its the musical stampede
Some preacher say
People ride on
People riding
People ride on
People riding
Midnight ravers, ride on ~ The Wailers (Midnight Ravers)

None but ourselves can free our minds – so true! I miss Marley soooooo much. Thanks for sharing his music with us once more.
    Peace, Light and Love, CordieB.

Peeps – I see you change the quote under Dillsnap Cognitions – I’m doing a poem or story based upon my favorite blogger’s quotes or ideas they have on their blog – (like I would use for yours “words as pillows to comfort mankind” – but I see your’s changes often. So, what would you have me use to best conceptualize your blog?

Think about it for a minute and let me know – (wink) – I know you’re going to have a hard time making one idea concrete for this purpose (winking again and smiling) but do try my dear.

    Peace, Light and Love, CordieB.

Thanks for the kind words Cordie. Marley will certainly be missed by many for years to come. They made a powerful martyr out of him, though I am sure that was not the intention.

I don’t think I could conceptualize the blog in one phrase. I vacillate between varying points of view on Dillsnap Cogitations. I only recently changed the header quote. I would recommend that you use both of the quotes – “words as weapons – to obliterate the mindless” and “words as pillows – to comfort mankind” to show the duality of Peepers and the progress he has made on his spiritual journey.

Excellence in conceptualization my dear peeps! And so I will use both. (I could have sworn your words were different at one time than either – I’m dazed on my false memory – perhaps I read something different on your about page or something) I’ve truly enjoyed the transition . . . It’s never a dull moment! Not an easy, boring transition at all, more like a spring turning into summer – somedays it snows, the next it might be 80 something, but yet it finally transends to summer. . . MWAH!

“Words as Pillows”? The pussification of the American male continues unabated, I see.

    Johnnypeeper’s response:

If my use of that phrase makes me a pussy, so be it. Your testosterone-fueled male leaders and their neverending wars of aggression are the problem sir. Sally Fields, of “Smokey and the Bandit” and Boniva anti-Osteoporosis pill fame, would do a better job as a president than any of the current crop. She said, “if mothers ruled the world, there would be no g-d-damned wars in the first place.”

Every one of those testosterone-fueled “leaders” has or had a mother. Hillary Clinton is a mother, yet I think you would agree that wars could certainly continue under her watch.
The state of the world is not a male-female problem; it is a human problem. There’s nothing precious or special (with the few rare exceptions of people like Marley) about your human race. I can only hope that for the sake of truly insightful people, the reckoning for the human race is later rather than sooner. But it’s going to happen. Mankind can’t help itself: it likes the suffering. It is a self-hating pestilence that will not be happy until the planet and every living thing upon it has been destroyed, and no amount of backslapping humanity movements will prevent this eventuality.

I am truly sorry to share this feeling with you. I too once believed that mankind had the ability to save itself, but with each passing day it becomes clearer to me that nothing is created to last. We are simply a chapter in an ongoing book that will continued to be written by other species and civilizations. Enjoy the chapter while it lasts.

“I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you’re not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.”

    Johnnypeeper’s response:

You are going to make me cry dammit – I am not a virus wearing shoes!

Yes, you are. Deal with the truth. A peaceful feeling will enter your mind, you will accept your destiny, and then the world won’t be quite so shocking any longer. You may even find yourself embracing all that is negative, realizing it is only by its existence that the positive has any meaning in our lives.

    Johnnypeeper’s response:

    As Salaamu alaykum,

That was beautiful Manco, very poetic. I am going to take your words to heart and embark on an introspective spiritual journey. Thank you for taking the time to explain your views on the matter.

Well, Johnny I think the world could use a lot of those pillows, yet do you really believe there are that many people i, this really big world that can emancipate themselves from their mental slavery that they built for themselves? I think of the masses and it makes me worried! I look at the educated and I am not so sure, but I am less worried, and I think of the clergy and now I am really nervous. Johnny, I could never think like you, but I do enjoy what you write, which then gets me to think more than I usually do and then I have to think that you do a good job! My best Johnny, I’ll come visit again and you keep my mind going so it doesn’t get rusty! Frank

    Johnnypeeper’s response:

There are many out there, you and I included, who will provide the ignition source for the universal consciousness movement. A critical mass will form with a minority of the global population. The false prophets, the elites, and the human bondage apparatus (organized religion) will be denied their anachronistic control mechanisms. Their power is slipping with every second that we refuse to acknowledge their false titles. Thank you for the kind words Frank, you are a true soldier.

Your winning hearts and Minds Johnny, why don’t I try that some time? Dreamtime Aboriginal Spirituality from down under is what I’m thinking is most pure. Thousands of years entirely verbal yet stunningly vivid. We are all just participants in the cosmic sleep? Especially if I turn off MSNBC (or whatever)

    Johnnypeeper’s response:

The Sumerians, the Babylonians, the Egyptians, and the Mayans had it all figured out. The Jesuits and the black papacy have denied us the esoteric knowledge of our ancestors. The pineal gland is the secret to our awakening. We aren’t participants if we are conscious and aware. I have eradicated all brainwash cable box programming. My mind is much clearer as a result.
